Need low latency and high bandwidth?

We offer direct point to point optical channels over our carrier class infrastructure.

You can choose from a range of cost effective, quality low latency optical wavelength products, offering flexible and scalable, standard and bespoke solutions ideal for lighting fast bandwidth-hungry applications.


Surf Telecoms has capacity to provide leased circuits including wide area Ethernet at a minimum of 1Gbit/s. Our switched photonic DWDM optical core network platforms are capable of delivering carrier class optical services from 1 Gbit/s to 40 Gbit/s. (100Gbit/s has been tested on our network and equipment is available to supply services of this capacity).

You can benefit from a range of port speeds and interfaces with standard or resilient options complimented by third party sub-contract extension services and national connectivity through our alliance partners to industry standards.

Optical connectivity solutions include:

  • Full duplex dedicated direct optical channel over DWDM technology with choice of LANPhy, WANPhy or fibre Channel SAN at 1Gbit, 2 Gbit, 4Gbit and 10Gbit and 40Gbit bandwidths
  • A resilient and secure core network with open standards that will scale and meet the requirements of future network requirements
  • Many serviced existing and carrier co-located points of presence, regional ISP Data Centre connectivity including Storage area network solutions and cable landing station access
  • Management of the necessary services to provide a complete “turnkey” end to end solution
